The Subject Catalogue is similar to a traditional subject bibliography. Its online classification system is also used in libraries and has been revised and slightly modified to serve our special purposes.

The Göttingen Online Classification (GOK) is our primary subject classification, along with the Basis Classification (BK) of the GBV (Gemeinsamer Bibliotheksverbund) and LCSH as secondary classifications.
